Default 23 hours of driving later, I've got the car home!

Woke up about 4 am yesterday and drove 12.5 hours from Florida to Tennessee. Got to the dealer and swapped out my 996 Cab for my new C4S. Jumped immediately onto the highway and drove another 5 hours to just outside Atlanta when I stopped to get some sleep from about 10pm to 5am, Back on the highway for the 6 more hours to Ft.Myers. Got home proceeded to wash it immediately then go pick up the kids from school for 2:30
I could not be any happier, This car is spec'd out exactly how I would have done it, Love the Pasm and Sports Exhaust crackles and pop's. The 18 way sport Seats are amazing.. Did it by myself too lol.

Congrats! Beautiful!

A road trip like that lets one really bond with the car.

Congrats! Nothing like a long drive home, to get to know your car. Why is your V-1 mounted to the right of the chrono clock? That's a long reach to hit the mute.

6 hours Atlanta to Ft. Myers? Wow, you were really putting it to good use. The Goog says 575 miles

(You must have stopped waaaay south of Atlanta. I have family in Ft. Myers and 6 hours is Cessna 172 time.)

Congrats on a beautiful car. Enjoy!

Wow! No tickets too? Score.

Great car. I'm sure the thrill of driving it made the time go by quicker on the way home.

Yeah, I was way outside the city.. To tired to remember where I stopped.
Did some pretty high speed runs when highways were clear. Thank you to the creators of Waze and Mike Valentine.

Congratulations.

Which dealer did you purchase from? Chattanooga, Knoxville, Nashville?

Darrell Waltrip Honda in Franklin. Nice bunch. They have a Porsche store but this car was traded by someone who took two vehicles off their lot.
