Looks great!! I know you'll enjoy it. And you are actually using the optional floor mats++. Mine are still in the bag.
actually , I was horrified that the detailer at the dealership had installed these optional ones ahead of time ( blame me for not instructing them beforehand ) , with the regular GTS model red stitch/ red logo ones still sealed in their bag ...I then decided to take the above pic before swapping them out but have decided to keep these in place until after next week's annual GGR PCA banquet , keeping the dealers service carpet " protector" in place until then .
this option , though , is and will always be hermetically sealed and stored away :
BTW , coming from 991 C4S cpe with PDK , Sport Chrono, PSE, and PDCC with just PASM , and because the Club Coupe's power band jump is well above the break in period , the main difference so far is the " liveliness " of the RWD config's front tires in a circular on ramp , whereas the AWD C4S felt more on rails , but the tires felt gyroscopically " heavier " doing so ...I like the former lighter feel ! Maybe the Sport PASM with its firmer , shorter shocks/ springs , bar bushings and modified coffin control arms contributes , too ..as I like how it is firmer in base mode and definitely more so in Sport Plus but controlled and not at all jiggly or harsh ..more like how a 911 should feel even just tooling around ...very nice ! With the 991 regular PASM , I never felt much if any difference switching it on / off in a straight line .
But the BEST feature , one I added having lived with the similar and preferred Sport Design steering wheel without thumb controls and being a constant " channel surfer " is VOICE CONTROL ...it is so nice to just press a stalk button and say " channel XYZ " and it tunes it for you whether it is preset or not , on any band incl XM !
Very-very nice. That color really transforms based on lighting.
Why didn't Porsche carry through the red-blue deviated stitching on the seats, too?
The red-blue stitching on the 7-MT boot is very cool. Another reason to skip the PDK.
except , as I discovered , the PDK guys who spec'd the $ 1850 " extended Club Coupe interior " pkg ( painted keys, bicolor stitching on key pouch, bicolor stitching on leather edged floor mats - prob $1750 of pure profit right there ! ) seem to be getting a $600 polished aluminum PDK shift **** as part of the pkg ( unannounced ) where the 7MT guys get the bicolor stitched shift boot ...my wife says we got " more " for our money , LOL !
std $300 replacement cost " anatomically suggestive " PDK S/GTS shifter as delivered on someone else's Club Coupe
Porsche parts upgrade $600 polished aluminum PDK shifter as perhaps " secretly " included (?) with the " extended CC interior " package , at least it is on mine ..OR it would be interesting if mine is an anomaly due to such limited production and because they built them here and there over an 8 month time frame , " Hans " got so confused by the build / option lists for the first one he did on the assembly line that he grabbed / installed the " wrong one " for my car ! It is very nice compared to the reg one on my C4S . You can see and FEEL the difference in hand..like a 2 ounce plastic/delrin vs a 1 1/4 lb heavy machined billet manual transmission shift **** , the latter " throwing " itself into the next gear slot .
BTW , 33% of CC buyers chose 7MT ....far higher , as expected , than the 5-10 % take rate on the base and S 991 models
Lex, I agree with you. Red and blue stitching should have been through the cabin wherever deviated stitching is present. That would have put the Club Coupe on an ever higher level.
Here's where it shows what comes with the Extended CC pkg w PDK.

If it makes you feel better, when I picked mine up at the factory, they had installed the "special" mats. I kept meaning to swap them, but drove 1,200 miles with them in Europe and swapped them out after getting the car back in the US in late October. I vacuumed them and stuck them in a bag, no worse for wear, no harm, no foul.

they will have to " make good " and get you the 2 painted keys, the pouch, the mats and either polished aluminum shifter ( which we seem to be determining on the pvt owners group site comes on this CJM package only ..or the stitched boot if MT ) for its real world cost ..about 1000 , not 1800, but unfortunately it will never be part of your orig build as listed on its Certificate of Authenticity .

thanks ..that is the first time I have seen this page ..it documents the alum PDK inclusion in that option's final spec ...their regular press pages never did update ..not surprised , in a way, as their corporate communications suits are busy with keeping up the accuracy of the product descriptions of the models that actually pay their salaries : the Macan and production 991 s
Congrats on a beautiful car. I live just south of San Simeon so hopefully will see you on the road sometime. For only a 60 car run, does it seems like the Club Blau is trickling out of the factory slowly? It seems like people are getting their cars over the last 7 or 8 months, and they are still coming.
