Love agate gray. It's metallic agate gray correct? Also if you look at the 2015 Porsche brochures all the cars are in gray. Gray looks like Porsche color. The GT Silver metallic is also perfect color.

Love this color way more than my old seal grey on my previous 996. Not sure I see much brown.

Actually most of the 991 cars are black or white (i'd estimate 60% based on my 3 months of search, does anyone have actual production by color?) followed by silver then grey at about 1 in 20 cars. Sapphire was about the same. Red, yellow, etc rounding things out.

Agate was my first choice too. It is a wonderful and complex metallic. In certain lights it's flat charcoal in hue, in others you do see the gold undertones - it's the first car I haven't changed my hood ornament to a silver Porsche crest - the gold painted crests looks fantastic IMO.

You can see it in this pic - rear quarter moving forward it changes from gold-ish hue to more flat grey - better pics with new wheels etc are coming. Getting rid of those shiny bits to go more subdued and sporty.

Selo - you're correct that the Agate leather shows the earthy undertones in the color more than the paint, which changes a lot based on lighting. Personally I don't like the leather as I prefer black or the 2-tone platinum leather combinations with Agate

Cams: That's one of the first Agate / light interior cars I've seen other than mine! Is it 2-tone Agate leather and Pebble or Platinum interior? Hard to tell from the pics... The agate leather definitely looks more brown than the paint.

Agate on Agate/Pebble here too! And as other people have pointed out, the brown in the Agate leather is much more pronounced than it is in the paint.

Yeah, slipped my mind! I'd just finished the 340mi trek to Rennsport Reunion V and the iced coffees were the only things keeping me going.

And while we're at it, an Agate GT3 from the same lot:

Bonus pic of the parking lot at RRV. This is only a fraction of the cars that were present; the Porsche lot on its own could have been an auto show. So many amazing examples there:

I also agree that Agate is a fantastic color. I originally wanted Anthracite brown but it was discontinued when i ordered my GTS. Agate was a close second and i think resembles anthracite in some lighting conditions. Love the brown undertone.

When do the last of the GTS allocations hit dealerships? I know there are none left to build, but will some still be arriving through the Spring? I'm sure most are spoken for, but just curious if dealers will be getting a few stragglers coming into the dealership.
