Hi All!
Can the Targa top be controlled from the remote from outside the vehicle? And once in the vehicle, can the top be set to open/close with one touch vs having to hold the switch on the center console until operation is complete?
Someone posted a video on YouTube showing him controlling the top from outside the car, and he mentions that it's a setting available from factory.
With that being said, I came across a post on this forum with a company offering an after market module to enable these functions..
Which is correct? Module needed or not?
Thanks in advance!

Not in US. Thank the trial lawyers and some Americans' innate ability to screw something up and insist on blaming someone else (with, on occasion, a "reward" for acting like an idiot).
Try Mods 4 Cars. They may have a module like the one for convertibles. Figure $300ish and 30 minute install if it's like the 981 tops.

I'm pretty happy with my Smart Top on the Targa. Love being able to see my top operate from outside, and the one-touch is slick. I'm not sure it's 100% glitch free, but it's really close or it may just be operator error!
