This is a two minute video showing why the sound of a Porsche does matter...if you watch this 2 minute video with no sound its a totally different experience...

Wow. I know nothing about racing only the joy of driving my GTS on public roads. BUT on thing that I have experience with is the symphony of the porsche. Love it!

I don't think the steering wheel of the last car is good design for driving

The next time I see Earl and Nick, I'll ask them about that wheel. Oh, BTW, they did win a race called Le Mans with it. Not to be confused with the prenatal classes.

Thanks. I'm sure in the hands of the pros, that steering wheel means business.
If you put me in a car like that, I will have a very hard time driving it home.

Agree. There was an awesome write-up this summer/early fall in Christophorus, about the 919 Spyder steering wheel. Pretty awesome info. Yes, very complex.

Picture- left to right, Patrick, Nick, Jorg, and Earl.

Crazy how little revs they give that 919. What a beast, and short shift city, at least at Laguna. The 919 hit turn 1 at 148mph at the bridge, the 935s around 138. Never miss the oppty to hit a Rennsport Reunion!!

I guess that's what you get with +1,000 HP.

500-ish from the turbo'd 4-cylinder 2.0 litre
500-ish from the electronic motors
