Default Brake job realistic for weekend hobbyist?

Besides the CL wheel removal with a special socket and breaker bar, is there anything special to look out for when doing pads and rotors on a 911? OR is it like doing brakes on any typical car?

Here's a little DIY for the front. Looks straight forward like other brake jobs. I was not aware of the hard line so that's good to know so you don't go pulling on the caliper kinking the line. If I come across something on the rear I'll post the link.

If you don't already have one, need to pick up a hammer driver to remove the set rotor set screws and when purchasing your brake parts buy 8 more little set screws. Sometime they don't look so good after being removed.

I agree, it's very straightforward mechanical work. Don't be afraid to take in on. I change both front and rear pads frequently for track days and once up on jack stands either end is less than an hours work. Changing rotors will only add 20 minutes to the job. Rears are really no different than the fronts. Same two-bolt caliper attachment. The DIY referenced above it pretty good. Feel free to ask questions.
