991 with Sport Design Kit Outdoor Cover
Hi all,
Apologies if this topic has been covered - I did a search and couldn't find anything...
Anyway, I recently bought a C4S with Sport Design kit and would like to buy an outdoor car cover. Problem is, Porsche only sells an indoor cover that is compatable with the duck tail.
Anyone know of a good place to get a cover that will fit?
Thanks a ton!

Where are you located? Is it really feasible?
If you drive your car at all you probably will only use your cover a hand full of times and only after the car was washed and nice and clean..... otherwise you will think it sucks to cover and uncover all the time. If you cover your car when it's dirty it will just scratch and then your car cover will be soiled as well.
I bought a nice cover years ago for my new VR6 Corrado and it spent more time in the trunk then ever on the car.
Now if you're going to park it for weeks on end it might be a different story.

Coincidentally I'm looking for one as well Zaire...let me know what you find and I will reciprocate.
Some of us in cities with small homes/garages need to compromise and share to keep the wife at bay ... BTW I've used car covers before, takes all of 30 seconds to un/install.

Never cover a dirty car.

^^ I agree but for me it was a choice between a few swirls or bird bombs. Swirls are easier to deal with.

I wash my cover a couple of times a year. Deep breaths fanatical people
If you're making the life compromise to have to store your 911 outdoors you're going to need to wax/buff/polish more often whether it's covered or not.
Gently roll the cover on/off the car withour dragging it and voila - it's fine.
YMMV but in California it's a mostly dust protector as we don't get much rain
