Beautiful car! Had I not been selected to buy a Club Coupe I'd have done the same thing. Incidentally, I tried to order the Pepita inserts for my Club Coupe but was denied. I love that feature of the 50th.

It would appear they shipped your car to lax via airplane? That must have been crazy expensive for porsche to rent a plane to deliver these.

Porsche doesn't rent an entire plane. You can request cargo shipping for any car you buy from Porsche and they just put it on whatever cargo plane that has space. For example, when I bought my Sport Classic this is what delivery looked like:
