Default Centerlock wheel opinions...

So in my ongoing search for a set of centerlock wheels for my 991 GTS I think I've found a possible winner. Forgeline recently announced the new GE1 below and I think it would look great on a GTS but interested in opinions from my friends on RL.

My only concern is since it is so new there are no pics of it mounted on a 991 as of yet... or any other car for that matter. It is however a fairly classic Motorsport influenced design so I'm sure it will look great. Thinking either satin gunmetal or satin graphite as a nice change from the matte black Turbo S wheels.

That said thoughts or comments would be appreciated!

I think they would look nice in either finish you describe. As you said, would be helpful to see them mounted on a 991.

nice wheel - I'd vote for graphite over gunmetal

One of the nicer aftermarket wheels I've seen for a 911. Elegant, with a contemporary look. As a bonus, it doesn't appear that cleaning would be an ordeal.

+1 if I didnt have the GA1Rs I would definitely consider this wheel!

sweet wheel design, i think they will look great

i have only had great luck with forgelines, hold them in very high regard

very lightweight very high quality product and made in usa

I like the stock wheels just fine but given our winters wanted to run a dedicated set of summer wheels/tires and move the stock CL wheels to winter duty. Best of both worlds as I'll run the stock wheels 4-5 months a year and the new wheels the rest of the year.

I have HREs on my GT3 and Forgelines on my GTS ... both amazing wheels and manufacturers behind them

I love the GTS OEM wheels, but they are a little "busy" and I wanted something more unique and also lighter than OEM!

I think those forgelines would look amazing. They're probably my go-to brand for Porsche wheels. I'd go with the gold and really stand out. It's such an elegant wheel that it wouldn't look too crazy.
