I'm not ruling out a supercharger one day. Would be when warranty is done and if I plan to keep the car forever. Linear power delivery, RWD and maybe 580hp - what wouldn't be to like?

On the other hand, maybe I'll trade it for a hybrid in 2019. Those things ought to be decent off the lights...

Its such a well balanced car. Hard to think this would do anything other than screw it up.

Show about street racing in Oklahoma City on the Discovery Channel. Lotta nitrous spent on that show.

DO IT

Mount the biggest bottle you can in the back seat, so everyone can see it!

Don't forget the NOS stickers and the neon underglow!

"All ideas with purity at their root are monstrous". Can't remember where I read that but...

Remember that the Paris attackers were quite primarily into the idea of purity. What's wonderful about the car world is that one can express oneself how one wishes and do no harm. MT and air cooled, or nitrous with gears changed by an electrode in the frontal lobe. One day. Maybe.

The questions in the original post.

The OP didn't sit down and ask everyone to śhit on him. He asked two questions.

The extra 75 hp in the GT3's 3.8 includes stronger connecting rods . . . nitrous is pretty hard on piston tops. Your oil consumption really goes up when you crack rings.

A 75-100 wet shot should be fine on this motor with no mods and no need for a remap with the added fuel. Monitor cylinder temps and A/F mixture you'll be fine and should be a lot of fun. A direct tap is more effective but more obvious when you take the lines out to trade it in. I've had nos on a few cars and other than trying to set a drag time it's not really useful. That said do what you want to do, this is not a forum to ask about mods on unless it's clear side markers.

Street Outlaws' tag line is "Just because we're dumb asses, you don't have to be". lol

The show is all about racing with nitrous-enhanced engines.
