Default Does base 991 GTS include ParkAssist?

I thought I read somewhere that a completely stock GTS includes the rear ParkAssist - just the rear, not front and rear, and not the camera version.

Does anyone know? I only care about the rear ParkAssist but I'm not sure if it's part of the base GTS package.

Thanks!

No. Park assist (sensors only) is an option. The backup camera is an option on top of that.

GTS doesn't include park assist as standard equipment.

Bummer! I realize that it's basically a must-have for me. Thanks for the info.

The other odd one is 18 way seats. I could actually care less about the electric adjustment of the seats - I've been happy with the 2 way seats on my current car. But what I would really like are side mirrors that angle down when reversing. I've got this on another car and it's really nice.

+1 a must if you want to avoid rim damage backing up IMO!

All convertibles have rear audible sensors as standard. Not the coupes.

I agree on both points, having had park assist on previous cars, I am no longer confident in backing up when parking.

its a must have on the cabs since the rear visibility is not that good with the top up...

Ah: maybe that includes the Targa and that's why I was confused.

The coupe config I'm looking at is pretty nice. Since this will be partially a track car, I like the base interior; less to worry about. My current Targa is just too nice to track.

030 - PASM Sport Suspension
0Q - White
581 - Luggage net in passenger footwell
583 - Smoking package
840 - SportDesign steering wheel
CNG - Rear fascia painted
GF - Leather Interior in Black with Alcantara®
P07 - Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way) with Memory Package
P3H - BOSE® Audio Package
P3J - Premium Package Plus i.c.w. Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way w/ Alcantara®)
XAJ - Side Skirts Painted
XCS - SportDesign exterior mirror lower trims painted in Black (high-gloss)
ZAB - Ornamental Porsche Crest
ZAC - No Sunroof

I'm not a big fan of white cars normally but I think with the black and red, it'll look ok. This or GT4 is the still unanswered question. Tough problem to have, huh? GT4 = more fun at the track; less fun total since I won't be driving it as much.

I typically think white cars are for people who dont care what color their car is, a bit like Saab's were cars for people who didn't care about cars!

But ... I think in the case of the GTS, as you say, the combo will work...

I *still* think that if you have the chance of a GT4 you should take it ...
