Just got my 2016 911 GTS - What a car!
I got my hands on my 2016 911 GTS cabriolet last week. It is even better than I dreamt it would be - if that is possible. I upgraded from a 2014 C2 PDK cabriolet in agate grey to a 2016 C2 PDK GTS in agate grey as a direct result of the impending change from NA to turbo charged engines. Boy, am I glad I pulled the trigger when I did!
What I particularly like about the GTS is that it is so versatile. I use it as my daily driver. I can drive to work with the car driving like a luxury sedan or I can switch it into beast mode and wake up the neighbors.
I was uncertain about whether or not I should get PDCC. I am glad that I did. When I push the PDCC button, the "sport chassis" is turned on and the car feels even more sporty and planted to the ground.
The PSE is simply incredible. I love hearing the exhaust reverberate as I go under overpasses. It is a real head turner. There is nothing subtle about it, and I love it that way.
I am also glad that I sprung for the Burmester sound system. It is exponentially superior to the Bose that I had in my prior 911. I listened to "Ripple" by the Grateful Dead the other day and it felt like Jerry Garcia had come back to life and was singing in the passenger seat. The smell of weed wafted through the air - oh yeah, I am in California. Nothing new there. The bass is incredible - it makes the seats shake.
The one mild disappointment I had with the car was the cheesy plastic lever that is visible in the front of the 4-way seats. It is for moving the seat manually back and forth. The 4-way sport seats are quite comfortable but I am not a big fan of the visible plastic lever. Poor me. I'll get by, somehow.
I went with the all leather interior. Not a fan of Alcantara. It feels weird to me and I have a dog. I love the feeling of the leather steering wheel and the smell of the leather every time I get in the car.
I have included some pictures the dealer took upon arrival of the car. The dealer swapped out - for free! - the orange lights for clear lights after these pictures were taken. It compliments the front LEDs and the rear tail lights nicely. I love the clear tail lights. They look badass to me. Overall, I love the dark accents - rims, pipes, lettering, lights, etc - in the GTS. Very masculine. Chicks dig it.
Thanks to my fellow Rennlisters for your help in creating my dream car!

Looks beautiful - very similar spec to mine. PDCC, Burmester and weight-saving seats!
It's an incredible car and only gets better as the engine loosens up. The turbos will have more torque than the NAs, just as the hybrids will have more torque than the turbos, but I bought now for the same reason you did and am pleased.

I hate Porsche!! Just when you think you have the best car ever, they come out with a new one like yours!! Oh well, that feeling will go away with the 991.2
Many happy motoring miles in that beauty!!

Bitchin' car. You're gonna find (if you haven't already) that PDCC is awesome even in normal mode. I have PDCC and SPASM and I rarely use Sport mode unless I am on tabletop smooth pavement.
And while the lever is ugly, I'll bet you're going to love the convenience of those seats. I like them way better than the power seats.

Very nice.
I also have PDCC and here's what I've learned through this forum about it: it's always on. The goofy button on the console that says "PDCC" merely firms up the suspension to it's "sport" setting. Yes, it's confusing.
Enjoy your new ride.
