Rennlist Membership subscription. Do it!

To keep things going here, and keep excessive advertising out, I'd suggest to everyone getting a membership to show your support. Plus gives you a few perks to certain areas of the site.
It would be nice if it was 100% required, but I can't control that. I think it would keep things a bit more civilized at times in my opinion.
Anyway, I show my support and do it personally.

$17.95 1yr. or $32.00 for 2yrs. It's not a bank breaker, and the free education here is priceless

I went back and checked on this and found that my transaction never went through. I just re-submitted for a two-year membership and made sure it went through. Thanks for the kick in the pants. I would have gone along merrily thinking I had "paid my dues."

I've had multiple questions how to post pictures. I use the Safari browser on my iPhone. The Garage Talk and Rennlist mobile apps make the pictures huge and not properly sized. That's why I log in directly to the RL website through the browser. You have to be a PAID member to post pictures. Any questions, ask. I'm not a tech pro, but the following pictures show the steps involved.

I did re-up. I had an issue w/ the automated system w/ PP - I use as security key - but I *have*sent the 2-years' sub of $32 directly via PP, and, once it's cleared I look forward to continuing to be a member of an excellent forum.
- great info
- passionate about the marque
- the potential for drives / track days
Well worth the sub And, FWIW, the level of discussion here is well above par for sports cars' boards

this is a load of crap.
The value of this forum is its membership. Without the members, rennlist is just a vessel. When it was john D, I could see the value. With internet brands, your membership is just padding their corporate profits.
You want to avoid ads, take 2 seconds and install ad-block plus. You won't see a single advertisement.
If you like the OT forum, cool. If you want to sell stuff, cool.
Otherwise, you might as well give your money away. If rennlist disappeared one day, we'd all migrate to pelican, or 6 speed, or wherever and the value would be the same because its YOU who creates value (not just in terms of knowledge, but in terms of site visits to drive IBs bottom line).

Having a bit of skin in the game makes for a better environment here. Really, $32.00 for 2 years that expensive?
Corporate profits? I hope there are some. They are offering a valuable service here. The original owners sold it for what? A profit! Internet Brands bought Rennlist for $$$, they didn't get it for free.
I don't work for free, and I'm sure nobody else does. Profit is what drives this great country of ours. How else can we make a living to afford day to day expenses and nice toys? We aren't a communist country.
