Default Remove or Keep "GTS" Designation on Doors

In talking with my dealer it looks like you can easily remove the decals on the door of the GTS.

Keep or remove? I'm thinking no decal but wanted to hear from the experts...

personal opinion, but i'm 50/50. they are SUPER expensive to replace according to the suncoast website, so think carefully before removing.
i'm going to have to remove mine to have my doors wrapped in XPel, but I won't replace the stickers..

That makes sense...I haven't thought about wrapping the car....been focused on acquiring the vehicle! Would you remove if you were not wrapping? The decals seem cheap to me being stickers..

I mean like what's the purpose? So cars on your side know it's a GTS? Then again, most all my Porsches have been model designation delete. Most certainly all my custom orders have been.

Oh its clearly a "look at me" decal separating itself from the C and the CS. When I felt the sticker it had a ridge and may peel off over time...reminded my of my 2 son's star wars decals the spread all over the house... cheap and plastic.... Oh well, there goes my poll.. :/ Decision made.

Since you asked, I think the side decals are tacky.... It's just a "look at me" message... People who know and appreciate Porsches would know what you are driving anyways... In my mind it is akin to the new Mercedes option to have the star emblem illuminated.... So you have all these jokers (in Miami in particular) driving around at night with their basic stripped down MB with the star illuminated to boost their confidence.... Uber tacky.... Since you asked :-).... But whatever floats your boat, man...

You can hardly call the small black GTS sticker 'tacky', especially when compared to an illuminated auto symbol...

I say keep it--if you have a GTS that came with it, keep it OEM. Unless you want a 'sleeper' look...

Just put your 'M" badge from your other car on it. It will be fine then. No stickers needed

Im keeping mine but I think the color way makes a bit of a difference. My car is GT silver and the contrast is pretty cool. For those saying the sticker is tacky...you guys havent owned a 997.2 RS haha. That thing was hilariously tacky.
