Default Sport Design Package

What does the sport design package get you and how much did it add to the sticker. Does it do anything to the exhaust, does it give you PSE?

Get on Porsches car configurator and build one up and it will show you.

On a Carrera S, 991.2, you get:

1. Rear axle steering
2. Sport Exhaust
3. Sport Chrono
4. Gt Sport steering wheel in leather
5. Sport design exterior mirrors

I believe it adds 6290

Have you considered going on the Porsche website? This answer also depends on the model year you are referring to.

I'm looking on a 2015 Carrera S. I did go to the configurator but you can only build a 991.2.

You are describing the 991.2's Sport Package. The 991.1's SportDesign package included the ducktail and the revised front bumper shown above. You could also order the front bumper without the ducktail. The 991.2 does not (yet) offer a SportDesign package.

Once you are in the configurator, you can use the drop down top left and build some other models. At least you could a few weeks ago even after the .2 went live. For the GTS, it is front fascia and ducktail, which is fairly rare and kicks ***. On C2S it was same, but about 2-3k more.

Footnote:

In 2015 Porsche made 100 ea Sport Design "EDITION" versions for NA. Came in Red, Black & White only.

The package included the duck & front + a few other goodies (like LED headlights) and as a package saved over purchasing the options separately.

Coupes mostly around $130K MSRP + -. Not sure, but there might have been cab versions too?

Edit...as of 10/21/15 here is an example of a new Red one - no affiliation.

Yes thats why in the heading I put, "On a Carrera S, 991.2, you get:"! I thought he was off on a word on the package name and was wanting the new car because I didn't believe you could still order the old car. No biggy!

This is one of 100 limited edition models. I was told it also includes PSE. Is this true?

The ones I've seen advertised all had PSE.

Window sticker from seller will give you all you need to know along with pictures of the buttons on the console.

EDIT

Found a sticker, but does not specifically show the PSE, but indeed had it. Must be included in the one of the
sport packages options. Kind of vague, but as stated above, it's a package where you get a deal on some stuff.

Good luck!
