I don't know if it's like falling love with your baby - for the simple fact that it is your baby... but I was not crazy about guards red when I found the deal on mine. Now, it's my favorite color for a 991.

That rear angle shot speaks volumes, you can see the deep orange and red colors in the dark shadows and the more salmon color in the sunlit area on the bumper.

Either the buyer loves it or not. Its not like the normal hues where a person can be convinced to go into blk, silver, or white if push came to shove.
In person its Salmon colored.

Yes, I saw it in person the other day - a red (or burnt orange) under low lights and in normal daylight more of a salmon orange. After much consideration have gone for the pastell orange on the Targa 4s I've ordered
