To me? No. Going from a Jaguar KX-R to a C2 3.4 L cab (in 2014), the difference was night and day. The 911 felt so much lighter, nimbler and just all-around better engineered. My C2 GTS cab (which followed the 3.4 L cab) felt heavier in comparison to the 3.4 L car, but that is because it is heavier. Bigger engine, bigger rear end. Both great cars and both head and shoulders better than the Jag.

964 to 991
I went from a 964 to 991 and do not notice an interior size or driving difference. The thing that is very different is the 964 had a more rugged higher off the ground feel (something like a rally car). Somehow to me they have completely hidden the hugely different exterior dimensions. Magic german elves.
