Default DRL config w/LED

My experience is only w/ Xenon & the lower horizontal lights.

What is illuminated for DRL's with LED lights....4 lights & halo only or....?

Is any of this configurable w/ LED?

What about parking lights position having tails on w/LED's in front?

THX

With the LEDs, the DRLs are the halo and four dots only.

The LED strip turns on only with headlights on, and DRLs off.

Can't have the halo/4 dots and the strip on at the same time in the USA.

Not sure I understand your last question. Please restate. Thanks!

OK..so if you want your tail lights running, but not full headlights - switch in the middle position what's on up front then? Still the 4 spots & halo DRL's? THX

The strip will light, running lights and tail lights.

Just a clarification.

Yes, the circular ring (i.e., halo) and the four LED dots both light up with the DRL, but from any perceptible distance, you only see four LED dots (a la, the 918, the new Cayennes and Pannys).

No "angel eye" effect like the Bimmers.

True. But you get a more halo effect in certain light conditions, angles, and viewing distance.

I think mine acts a little differently.

If I set it to the middle position, only my 4 DRL come on, and not the halo I think (I need to step out and confirm). I was actually hoping the halo would be on together with the 4 DRL beacuse it just looks cool. For me, I think the halo only comes on when it gets darker but not night > dusk or in carparks. Will confirm later on.

Mine is for the HK market.

The 4 dots are encompassed in the halo. The light radiates around and completes the halo effect in certain lighting conditions. They are one in the same.

OK...now this is DRL only, but w/the switch in the middle position we also get the horizontal strips
chiming in right?

No. You don't get both in the USA.
