Default Dealer comments or recommendation

We're in Seattle and looking at a c4s cab at tyson's corner Porsche to replace our c2s cab that will probably be written off as a total loss.

Any insights into the dealership or sales rep recommendations? Anybody familiar with the car? 2013 c4s cab, get silver/espresso, 22k+ miles, CPO.

Thanks in advance, gordon

I'd negotiate through your local dealer and have them get the car for you. Everything is generally more expensive in the DC area ( which includes Tyson's). I don't know whether Porsche allows it, but many dealers in the area tack on an additional charge just for the location and may also add on a premium for cars in demand. A new model year 'Vette for example can go for 20k above list.

I saw that C4S cab on the lot the other day, but I didn't spend any time looking it over as it was just one of many there. I'm about 20 miles from the dealership. My 991S came new from Porsche Tysons, and they have treated me right over there. They are the largest of the (4) Wash DC area Porsche dealers by far. Here's my salesman, he's a good guy, been there 15 years now.

I'll leave it at everyone is okay. No airbags, no roll bars. For me not even the adreneline hit or shock. Just an unfortunate combination of circumstances that I drove through. Allstate is so far conducting the process in ways that fly in the face of the many anecdotal horror stories I've heard. We seemed to agree on a total loss last Friday, so now I'm finalizing the process.

We decided today to limit our search to the west and whittled down our "build" to agate gray or white, a limited set of interior colors, and an option list that I won't compromise. Oh, and another cab, c2s or c4s. CPO is my chosen route.

When we're done I'll post some follow up including any helpful advice on buying remote if that happens and, of course, new car pictures (or it never happened).

Thanks for asking Larry!

Thanks Duane! If we change our mind about geography and Tysons has a car I'll contact Jamie. Right now I'm on an ABS warpath (Anything But Silver).
