I absolutely adore the Miami Blue color.. and it was a tough decision in wether I would order the 2016 model or wait for the 2017 model. I don't like some of the aesthetic changes that have been done to the 2017 model, and therefore opted for a custom build of a 2016 model... But Miami Blue METALLIC would be way better than the current flat color.

No its not "metallic" ...I was saying that I wish it was Metallic instead of a flat color. Metallic would be beautiful.

Personally, that color would be a deal-breaker for me. Can't stand it and if I won one in that color, I'd try to sell it off immediately to fund a different car in a color I liked. However, I'm happy to see that many people love the color as it means I'd have a ready market. It's your car and your money. If you like or love it -- enjoy it.

I think it looks stunning! Very very out there. It would be on my short list, though perhaps not for a dd, but certainly for a weekend ride. Looks great with the Targa.

If you had that color you have have 1 of 1 instead of 1 of 2!

I'll bet it looks better in person, sometimes those cc renderings do not do the color justice...

I really like Miami Blue (and Porsche's other slight variations of blue in the same color palette).

However, I would find it hard to live with in the long term.

its highly subjective ... however Ive owned my Mexico Blue GT3 for nearly 6 years now, and it still gives me the thrill I had when I 1st saw it ...not only that
but it only attracts very positive attention wherever it goes.

I actually prefer Mexico Blue to Miami Blue (although they're close, IMO).

I can absolutely understand that it garners lots of positive attention!

You are not alone at all. My wife and I love the color (either Mexico or Miami blue). They both look the same to us. We are going to get a 992 in Miami blue. Hopefully by then, it will be a standard color (doubtful) or at least available. If not, it is PTS for us.

I have just ordered a 991.2 Carrera S, in sapphire blue, however i have a couple of days to change to Miami blue which i also like, but is it worth paying appx $7500 extra? sapphire blue is a no cost option here in India. the dealer doesn't have a colour sample for Miami blue so I d'ont know what it physically looks like.
the upholstery is standard black, i would have like black/red, but its a near $10,000 option so definitely not paying extra for it. so which is better long term? sapphire or Miami? I intend to keep the car for a long time. my third choice is racing yellow, but Im afraid it might be too bright in our harsh sun in summer. please help.

But that little variation makes all the difference in the world. Mexico is much better looking than Miami, IMO.
