Those 917's going around Laguna Seca....wow. And yes, totally impractical to even THINK about owning an original, but there is a guy doing a top flight replica. All you PDK guys can pass watching this one. 
This is manly stuff...arghhh! Arggghh!! About $ 140K to put one together....but you'd be the coolest guy on track days
