Default Huf Beru RDE0111 TPMS Woes...

I recently swapped out my OEM wheels for a set of Forgeline GA1R's; they were fitted with new Huf Beru RDE011 TPMS units.

Once mounted I followed the relearn instructions, but the GTS will not register the new TPMS.

I even tried dropping the pressure 10lb/ft and reinflating, to no avail.

I bought an Autel TS401 TPMS reader and the sensors clearly register with that (so they are apparently functioning normally)

So it looks like a visit to the dealer to see if they can perform some reset of the car via PIWIS ...

just FYI...

Default finally...

I got my TPMS to register ... what an epic.

I purchased a Autel TS401 TPMS reader for around $80 just to check that the Beru RDE011's were working, they were!

today when I pulled out of the garage (this part is relevant, not sitting next to another car with TPMS on it) I reset the wheel type, causing the car to go into
learning mode, then I set the load type, within 30 secs voila! - they registered
with the car!

So which car is envious of the cab, the GT3 or the 7-series?

Ah the BMW is pretty unhappy since it got tossed out of the garage onto the
street to make room for 911 only parking!

The GT3 doesn't talk to wannabe hairdressers 911's
