Power steering plus for Targa
My SA advised getting PSP as its going to be my DD and because of the all wheel drive.
Anyone with any experience in this matter or opinions? My build locks soon.
FWIW I am not getting PDCC.

I have PSP and like it a lot. It works as advertised. Lighter feel at parking lot speeds only. It wasn't a deal breaker for me either way but if given the choice I would get it again. Also, since it's a software coding you can add or delete it anytime.

Now, that doesn't mean you shouldn't get PSP, or that PSP will not be to your liking, but that just that AWD does not necessitate PSP.
I'd think with bigger heavier Porsches (like Cayennes or Panameras), PSP might be more of a consideration.

I have it in my car. I bought from dealer inventory. I certainly would not have ordered it. I don't think I would take it for free, if given the choice.
This is just my opinion. If you do an inordinate amount of low speed maneuvers then perhaps it may have a value, or if you are 96 years old I would recommend it. :-)

I have it on my Targa. Pretty transparent. I can't feel any transition. The steering effort seems pretty consistent. Especially, it is not overly light at speed. It is especially helpful if you have a nagging elbow, shoulder or wrist injury that would make higher effort at parking speeds challenging.

I have it in one of my cars and not in the other. If I had my druthers, I'd probably have it in both, but I don't know if I'm going to pay to have it loaded into the one car without. It's a nice feature, does it's job well at slow speeds, but not an absolute necessity by any stretch.

My feeling is that its not like your a parking a 18 wheeler or a tractor. But try one out and see if you like it. If a person had both arms in a cast than its needed. lol Just kidding. To each their own! And if someone likes tea over coffee, more power to them!

I have it on my Targa GTS and it seems to work as advertised. Doesn't make any difference at speed and makes tight quarters slow speed maneuvering a one handed operation. It comes in handy for me as I use my car as a DD and have a long underground parking garage to circle down and back up again each day. Certainly not a necessary option but assume it does what it says it does and decide if you care.
