Default Tire as advice for my climate.

So I may be requiring to replace my PZeros pretty soon.
Felt that they were slippery in the wet somewhat. May be a bit noisy too.

What are my options to replace?
I live in South Africa where the weather is mostly warm with rainfall during times of the year especially spring and summer.
No snow or temp below 10 Celsius where I live.
I don't track or race the car.
I want mostly dry grip but some wet grip and quieter if possible.

/edit. Sorry error in title

Michelin Pilot Super Sports

I've heard nothing but great things about these tires. Long wearing with excellent dry grip and surprisingly good wet grip. I doubt you will be disappointed with a set of these.

+1 probably the best ultra high perf rubber for the 991 right now...

Agree with all on the PSS. Had them on my C7, darn good tire.

MPSS. Slam dunk. You'll be amazed how much quieter and rattle free the cabin is versus P Zero. You can hear the exhaust much better too, not cometing with road noise from the tires.

I loved the MPSS on my last Pcar, a 997.2S. They were great but unfortunately they are not N spec if that matters to you. So your options are tough! GL!

Not N spec ? Really.
This is important as the warranty here requires that.

They are starting to show up in some of the 991.2 press photos (see the long thread elsewhere on this subforum.) That means that yes, at least one MPSS variant now exists in N-spec.

Whether this will apply to the ones currently on the rack at your favorite tire store, I don't know.

I asked my SA if I could get MPSS for my incoming Targa GTS and he said maybe.
Don't know what that really means but I am going to see if they can swap them for me.
Anyone had any luck in doing that?

I doubt this, firstly its not possible to spec the tire that the factory installs (and the MPSS is not an N spec option anyway so the factory do not even use these on the 991.1), and secondly, the 305/30-20 MPSS is on national back order with no predicted availability...
