Default Dealer tint warranty?

Bought my 2012.5 c2s in March with 9k miles from very well-respected Porsche dealership (not local to me). Car was a launch vehicle (black) and the dealership painted the wheels black and tinted the windows prior to 1st owner leasing it.

Just noticed that the tint on the passenger side window is peeling on one of the corners - detailer guessed this was due to the auto/up down when you open the doors and that appears to be the case.

I can live with it but if it gets worse do you think my local dealership would replace the tint or tell me to pound sand? Guessing these after-market services are an outsourced job so might not have standard films across dealerships.

Thanks for any thoughts or experience.

What does your warranty paperwork say?

I presume it would be.

The CPO paperwork? Wouldn't think it covered that. I don't have any documentation on the tint.

If your local dealer isn't the one you bought the car from, I don't think they would replace them.

Go to a good tint shop. Easy and cheap to replace. A whole car can be done for like $300

One window or the front two? Cheap.

Usually not CPO covered material.

Yeah the time saved by just paying for it probably makes it break-even. Thanks all.
