GTS spoiler lip

sorry the pictures are not so good...
these are the connectors....
this is where they go on the lip...
these are the tabs on the lip ... as you can see they are "wedge" shaped to
keep the lip locked in, so you may need a trim tool to "help" them out of
their slots in the facia...

The 2015 GTS without sport PASM scrapes on driveways, speed bumps and parking blocks. After 4 months mine is fairly well chewed. I have learned to go over driveways and speed bumps at a slight angle and park a distance from the parking blocks. When I install the newly ordered lip, I intend to keep it without blemishes.
The 2017 GTS comes with a button on the center console that lifts the front end by several MM when activated.

thanks for the info gents. sounds like i'll probably be doing the occasional cringe-dance when I scrape my lip. i guess the good news is at $200, a new lip is a relative bargain! surprised it's not a $1000 part..
maybe i'll practice my double rattle can stream-cross technique.. but does Rustoleum come in GT Silver?

I live in San Francisco, lowered on TechArt, from SPASM. I scrape on something at least once a week, but the SPASM spoiler is black matte plastic and doesn't show a lot of wear. Also SPASM front lips are like $150 new I am happy to pay to play at that price point.

its tougher with the GTS since the lip is fully painted ... there is no convenient blk matte like your or that of the GT3 which are easily replaced

This is very helpful. I picked mine up at the factory and drove it in Europe for a week. Finally picked it up at dealer on Saturday and the truck driver had broken the lip in two. I wasn't going to wait for the part, so I have been driving it. The gap became wider and wider. Tonight, I pulled the plastic pins, took it off, duct taped it back together and will drive it until the new part is in and painted. I think I better have the dealer order a second one to be painted at the same time.

Got my new lip!
Does anyone object to leaving the lip off to avoid the continuous destruction on the GTS?
Does it look bad without the lip?
Just need a kind an educated opinion.
