Default Off to the Fatherland...

Off to Frankfurt tomorrow for some work related stuff but then heading to Zuffenhausen for a plant tour on Friday ( 9/11)....when I first made this reservation many months ago, the only thing missing was actually taking delivery of a 911 on 9/11 from the factory that produces the 911.
I have since solved that and now own a 911, which makes the trip that much more special for me. It must have been destiny.

Was in the Porsche museum this morning with my wife and two granddaughters. What a terrific display of P-cars. All three girls loved it and we made a dent in the gift shop inventory afterwards. Next up was the M-B museum, lunch was very good and the museum is unbelievable! You could easily spend the day there. All agreed the Porsche museum was best (still can't convince my wife she needs a Cayenne or Panamera instead of a M-B). The scope and breadth of the vehicles at M-B is astonishing. Our itinerary is such that we were in Stuttgart on Saturday which didn't allow a factory tour--another time perhaps.
I'll post some pics when I'm home.

If you go to the Museum shop and are a member of PCA (take your membership card) you get 15% discount at the Museum shop and also 10% discount at the dealership store. Also, I believe that entrance to the Museum is free and only charge is for parking (4 Euro).
