Default Auto headlight sensor

Does anyone know where the sensor is for the auto headlights? I just had my windshield replaced, and when the headlights are on auto, they always stay on. Wondering if the sensor is dirty, but I cant find it. Thought it was on the back of the rearview, but that just seems to dim the mirror.

There should be a camera/sensor in the center of the windshield, right behind the rearview mirror. You can see it from the outside. Sometimes there is a light sensor in the dash, in the center.
