Default Carseat and wind deflector

Those of you with cabs and car seats: can you deploy the wind deflector if the car seat's back sticks a little above the top of the seat or is the contraption pretty taut?

Thanks in advance for the info!

I have a cab, 3rd summer with it, not sure I understand your question. Never had a problem deploying the deflector.

Sorry for not being clear. What I wanna know is: with a car seat in the back and top of it poking over level of seat back, can you deploy wind deflector over it?

Thanks!

Depends how tall your kids are. I'm tell them if them mis-behave, they get the deflector

LOL not a bad idea!

No, just wondering when they're not in the car, does the deflector roll over the car seats or is it taut and not deploy if the car seats are sticking out a little.

I have a Cab but not children's car seats. I looked closely for you yesterday while deploying the deflector and I think that you're going to have to test your particular seat. From what I could see, if the seat extends too high, it will restrict the mechanism as it extends over the back seat. But once deployed, it should not be a problem.
