nah just the reflection and lighting. if you had not noticed, the bumper was repainted with the same paint, and you did not see that being off.

I was thinking the same thing - could be the picture, but color seems a shade off.

I like the mod, but will keep mine black for now. I did not like the black grill either from the pictures, but like it now that it is actually sitting in the garage.

I assume you got it professionally painted, or was it even less complicated?

in another pic it looks fine.

Why the bumper repaint? Is that why no badge obviously?

It's OK but I also prefer stock. The paint looks off to me as well. How much was that rear diffuser installed?

The OEM black is fine with me also. But yours is unique though.

Looks nice but I prefer the black stock grill on the GTS. Interesting mod for sure, though.

So to answer a few of those questions:
-professional painter did grill, and removed the gloss black tips, to make it perfect, did not want to mask and do half ***
-bumper repainted because I took the badges off (done it on many cars - designer spend so much time making cars beautifull and then **** gets added - i am purist!) but believe it or not, the paint under the 911 was smeared. Possibly Porsche warms up the bumper from behind to get better glue adhesion from the logos, or the paint was not sufficiently cured. I was very surprised and dissapointed needless to say. Knowing this now, I wish I had looked during my european delivery plant tour.
-diffuser is from nr auto, $1400 or so delivered, half price of vorsteiner. Took an hour to dismount bumper, 20 mn to put diffuser on bumper, 1 hour to put back on car. If you are basically mechanical, this is not hard. i would guess Porsche shop would charge $300 or so
Thanks for kind and funny replies

Who took your badge off and what method? Heat gun used? A big no no there. Most likely the defect issue there.

Porsche doesn't "warm up" the bumper. The badges are slapped on with a template and good to go.

Badges are part of the design element in my opinion. I'd be a "purist" and support Vorsteiner who actually designed the piece than someone who rips off others designs.

I think the diffuser looks awesome, and for half the price, makes it look even better.

then I did not like the black grille and would rather have the standard carrera grille in white, but then thought. What if i did the GTS one in white and kept the black glossy bits on the end. Results herewith in pictures. That being said, looks 100 times better in reality. you judge.

Don't take this the wrong way but you asked. I do not think Michael Mauer would approve. Small -strand painted contrasting louvers are too weak looking, looks like a heating system base board convector. That's why they did the solid color black block grill for visual strength. IMHO.
