not sure what leather options you have ticked, but "GTS' is usually stitched into the headrest ... selecting the crest will replace that.
I bounce between Texas and Florida and feel ventilated seats a must. I think with garnet red/black interior option that the GTS stitch into the headrest is gone...yes/no? I'll ask the dealer as well.

I appreciate and thank you for the input Larry!

agreed air-cooled bum is important - esp in a black car.

Wifey happy too! I've adjusted the build. They offered $4k off = 2.6% off MSRP of $154,370. I would think 5% to 7% off is a norm?

You've got a really great build. 2.6% discount is on the low side, but my understanding is that it's very difficult to get an allocation for a GTS build. So, better to have the car and pay a shade more than to let this go and try to find another allocation for another few dollars off.

Agree, I think there is another $2k of movement. Working on it now.

Last minute ask to you fellas. Add the Dashboard Trim in Leather that also brings the red stitching? $1720 option. Car is garaged in Texas and Florida and covered parking when not in garage. I like it but then wonder if it is too much!

And the final question...Black or Agate! I hate the time pressure!

agate - esp in hot climates, unless you want to biol, and spend a lot of time detailing

Deal is done! Got allocated a build that was for a 16 GTS cab, set to lock on 7/18 (salesperson showed me the screen) and scheduled for a 9/18 build. Headed back tomorrow morning to complete commitment to purchase with a very fair reduction to the MSRP. Brining my 997.2 for a trade estimate tomorrow to put a bow on this deal.

Going for the black cab as I like the flowing form that happens with a single exterior color. I have 2 days to decide on the LED in standard or in Black. The standard shows the LEDs but contrast the car too much, the black LEDs blend into the body of but I lose the sexiness of the detail of the LED.

Anyway I'm feeling happy and that I got a fair deal on a car I spec to my liking. Good relationship with the salesperson helped as my prior purchases through him Woo Hoo! GTS time! Thanks for the thoughts and perspective my friends!

Good that your build date is a week or so before Oktoberfest and not after!

That's always been the one Porsche that you can't un-see.
