Default Obscuring the side marker lights

I wrapped a set of the Euro LED side marker lights with the lightest grey clear tinted wrap my local sign and vinyl shop had.

Before:

After:

I think it looks much better on Agate Grey. Black or silver too. White I'd leave clear; Red, Blue, whatever, it would be up to the owner, but they make other color vinyl clear wrap.

It's tough stuff and I expect it to last many years. The install was easy and straightforward with a heat gun, scissors, and a little bravery. You can always peel it off try again. 3ft x 3ft was like $10.

Looks like smoked clear lenses. Looks good to me. Have you thought about doing the front clears?

Think there could be any issues with the vinyl and heat from the LEDs?

LEDs produce very little heat at that wattage.

Visceral, it looks great. I'm waiting for a GTS Jet Black and will definitely look into doing something like this.

My local dealership, Sunset Porsche, stocks the Porsche lights. $120-$135 maybe? There's a PCA discount.

Anyways, there's a Youtube video referenced on the forum showing how easy it is to swap the lights. Its a 2 minute job at the most.

It is designed to last under the heat of the sun, which I would believe is much hotter than the little LED in the light.
