so it looks to be the cage, mechanism and connectors. I also put SSKs on my M3s, Cobra R and Viper, none of my mid or rear engine cars. The immediate connection makes it more comprehensive in feel than just shortening the throw. Not sure how much better this would be but would like to try it. I have no complaints about the stock unit, it's just fun to fiddle sometimes.

Edit: posted right as the last was made.. That looks to be just a shortened shifter and new (possibly different) bearings.

Thread on planet 9 forums in the mod section, some cayman owners have installed. It's not like the picture above at all. It's apparently the shifter from the GT4. Looks to be mostly shorter height and increased spring neutral return. No other upgrades such as metal bushings vs plastic. Probably weight was a factor.

I'm finding my GTS shifter a bit long in the throw. Curious if anyone's tried this yet.
