Arrow IN THE SHOP | 991 Carrera 4S Performance Package

We just finished up installing a full Fabspeed Performance Package on this beautiful 991 Carrera 4S. The resulting exhaust note and performance gains were outstanding, and the customer was beyond pleased with the outcome.

Fabspeed's 991 Carrera Performance Package includes the following upgrades:
Maxflo Performance Side Mufflers w/ Deluxe Quad-Style Tips
The 991 Carrera Maxflo Performance Side Exhaust replaces the factory side mufflers, improving the exhaust flow and the overall power while providing a deap and throaty sports car sound. This system can be used with the OEM outlet tips, or can be upgraded to include Deluxe Quad-Style Tips in either Black Chrome or Polished finish.

Sport Headers w/ 200-cell HJS Sport Catalytic Converters
Performance headers improve exhaust flow and sports car sound by improving the geometry and replacing the restrictive factory catalysts with high-flowing 200-cell HJS Sport Catalytic Converters.

Center Muffler Bypass X-Pipe
Improves exhaust tone and saves weight by replacing the factory center muffler with a lightweight x-pipe.

Carbon Fiber Competition Intake System
Improves cold air induction into the engine and improves power and sound through the rev range; constructed with genuine carbon fiber for strength and durability.

Thank you very much! Your wish is my command, Code.

Just for reference: the dyno graph I have for this system was run with the Valvetronic X-Pipe, while the customer in the build photos above chose the non-valved Center Muffler Bypass X-Pipe as part of his custom package.

I've been on the fence about your intake since day one of owning my car.... I don't care about the power gains but in the beginning of that video is seems to have more intake sound - which is why I'd want it.

Do you have any sound clips of JUST the intake before/after on a stock exhaust?

Is there any data with regards to air temps with this vs stock?

R_Rated--Thanks for the inquiry.

We released this product back in 2015; it sounds great, made a little power, and it looks beautiful as well. However, the factory airbox is a dual intake with fans positioned to essentially pull air into the system on both sides. Contrary to some previous generation systems, its actually very efficient from factory. On top of that, the intake is completely hidden on the 991s once the install is complete. At that point, we realized there was little to no demand for the product, so we removed it from our product line. As a result I do not have the data, or a product to sell you! I'd be interested in hearing more about your goals though, it sounds like you are looking for a sound that is befitting of the Porsche badge if I am not mistaken.

Correct - likely leaning towards IPD + BMC. Power would be nice but sound is the objective while not hurting the reliability, power or heat.

In regards to the IPD and BMC filters; these components are going to maximize efficiency on the intake side of the engine.

As far as your general goal of a sportier sound, does this apply to the exhaust sound as well? The best bang for your buck in terms of power and sound producing parts is going to be a set of High-Flow Sport Headers with 200-cell HJS Catalysts coupled with a Protune. This combination is going to give you the best return on investment where your car's power is concerned. Sound will be a bit throatier and power notably increased as well.

Thanks for posting the Dyno sheet, Jason! Those are beefy gains for an NA motor with just bolt-ons. Well done.
