Rock/Sand Pitting on Windshield??

I have this on my Cayman S, had it when I bought it. Lower half of the windshield has a slight orange peel effect to it. I'm taking the car in this week to have the dealer look it.

Quick update to this; dealer checked the car out today and they're replacing my windshield under warranty. They think the layers of glass as separating, causing the rippling.
