This is what living to an active "old age" can get you...sure wish I'd been able to hold on to a few of these beauties, but more than happy with the current GTS Club Coupe.

In order of acquisition:

2001 Boxster
1996 Carrera 4S
1988 928 S4
1996 Carrera (PCA GT2 race car)
2001 996 GT3 (Speed World Challenge car)
2005 997 Carrera S
2013 991 Carrera S Cab

I'd like to have kept a couple of the old ones, perhaps, but the 991 is the best by far!

In order of the love of my wife:

With each Porsche that I bought new, I called her each time and told her I would not be disappointed witha big "NO". On the other hand, all my friends call her a keeper since on each occasion she said "go for it". I bought one for her and she is a shark with a 7MT.

The bottom line is that I would not have Porsches unless my wife was on my team. She has been so supportive of my irrationality that it is so important to me. Now, she may have other complaints about me but she has the cars we buy that she likes...............

Bought my first Porsche, a 1965 Porsche 911 (#301745) during my last year of college (1971) up in the rain forest of Humboldt County on the northern California coast. It had roll up windows and multi-speed wipers compared to my 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 with snap-on top and side curtains.
Bought my second Porsche, a 1974 Porsche 911 in 1977, it was a lease return from another PCA owner.
Bought my third Porsche and first new car ever, a 2015 Carrera S ordered in July 2014 which arrived Thanksgiving weekend.
I still have the 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 after 49 years and the 1974 Porsche 911 after 40 years.
