Get the wing if that's what you want. I'm sure that big vent at the front of the base of the wing adds a ton of cooling to the engine as well!
I'm curious what sort of attention you are concerned about ... Ive had 4 generations of GT3's all with associated wings and have not encountered any
negative attention from them ... quite the opposite ... especially with my
current GT3 which you cant miss in Mexico Blue.

Just ordered my 911 and originally selected the Sport Design package, but then I saw a few in person at the dealership and the more I looked at it in person, the less I liked the ducktail. Just didn't work for me, personal preference I guess. I do love that front splitter though. Shame they don't offer just that on the S.

switch your order to a GTS! - it would cost less than doing an aftermarker install of the SD front fascia

Either you're a troll or I'm missing something ...

Why would you do that? It would look terrible and it's quite the poseur move.

Don't ruin a perfectly nice car. If you want the look of a GT3, go get one.

I thought long and hard about the GTS, but there were a few things that I didn't like/want and I'd be paying about $10k more than I am for my S configured just the way I want it, so it didn't make sense to me. I think the GTS looks beastly, but I'm not into the rear louvres, not sold on liking the wheel choices over the long term, and I'm not an alcantara fan. For me, a Sport PASM S with the specific options I wanted just made more sense.

totally get it ... the wheel problem is fixable, as is the alacantara but some of the exterior trim is not 'deletable' ...

you can always retro fit the SD front will probably cost about 5-7k with paint etc
I think someone else on the forum has already done this ...

Yup, but any way I went with the GTS, I was spending money on things I didn't see the value in and not getting the car set up the way I wanted it. Like when you select the 14 way power seats, you have to select the full leather interior for something like $3800... That makes no sense to me. I just want the standard black interior.

Honestly, if I could have gotten a GTS with those seats but no leather interior, I might have done that instead, because I could probably justify the price difference with everything else. But that leather thing kinda pisses me off.

Please don't do it.
You'll spend a lot of money then you lose respect as being a poseur.
And... you'll ruin the look of beautiful shape/line of cab.

Please don't do it.
