MF seems to be .002, so no mark up there. Looks like I'm being offered a 2% discount with justification that the dealer would be giving up a hot car that they'd likely be able to get full MSRP for in exchange for a GTS manual allocation (they have none).
At the end of the day that's all it comes down to, no? Ensuring no mark up on the money factor and grabbing best discount possible. Anyone able to get above a 2% discount on a GTS? This would be for a MY16.
Lastly, there are some built GTS MT in the states, but none have aerokit cup or sport design packages along with alcantara (all have alcantara deleted). I asked the dealer if I was willing to settle on one of those cars would they be able to put on the aerokit bumper n spoiler once the car arrives locally, they said not an option. This true?
I don't see why the dealer couldn't put the aerokit spoiler on the car ex post facto (the sport design front bumper should come standard). As far as discounts, it very heavily depends on the location, dealer, etc. People on the forum report getting discounts of up to 7% on built to order GTS cars. But that's meaningless if in a different part of the US, they had a different relationship with the dealer, and so forth.

They could, they just cant be bothered its too much trouble for too little return.
I think residual on the car is 68% if I recall correctly.
Looks like popping the aerokit rear on there after the fact is not going to happen. It's currently on factory backorder as a part with no eta. That means residualizing the part cost 'n labor and paying for that for who knows how long until it shows up.

Its certainly not cost effective to do Aero kits after the fact. THOUSANDS more. Have to paint bare body parts. You risk a color mis-match. And you should be able to do more than 2%. Five percent is the norm. For now at least.
