Default Prt Number?

When you open your hood/trunk and are looking down at it, there is the black rubber piece that runs from about the headlight to the top. It connects to another rubber piece at the base of the hood above the bumper. I need that rubber pieces number so I can order a new one. It does not fit exactly right and the rubber sticks thru the hood when closed. It does not sit flush. If someone can help I would appreciate it! Thank You
If I could send a picture to confirm I would but the car is not with me.

Warranty? Hood aligned properly? Call Sunset Porsche for the part number 503-641-8600.

No problem with the hood. Before i bought it the robber piece became unclipped so when the hood was closed it was pinching it. No the rubber piece is crooked and does noy sit flush when clipped back properly. You see it sticking away from the frame when the hood is closed.

The part is plastic, not rubber as I wrote. Can someone verify this part number by picture and I think this is the piece.

Item #20 should be what you are looking for.

I need to replace the one on my left side also.
The retainer near the top won't seat anymore.

In your case, the dealer may warranty that part for you, because it sounds like something really went bad with it.

Thank you, should be a quick fix once you get the piece.
