The MF is a rip. Do not pay that. As others have said, .0020 (4.8%) is base, non dealer marked up rate.

Dealer is simply trying to capture some profit with that money factor.

Ya I'll be negotiating for .0020 MF considering my credit rating. Annnnnd I'll probably be buying a GT3 from them in the future, I hope they can give me a fair deal.

I see no reason why the dealer should capture additional revenue over and above that which they obtain via the difference between (the real) invoice and the final selling price

Default Lease vs Purchase

Before you sign the lease, my advice is to look at an amortization table side by side lease versus purchase. You should run them apples to apples with the same down payment and similar monthly payment. Your SA should be able to provide you with a printout showing the lease payoff at each month.

I too intended to trade up before the end term of the lease and discovered that the payoff for the lease was substantially higher than the low interest longer term loans offered for purchase, especially at 24 - 30 months out.

Sales Tax will be a factor if you are not trading something in to reduce the tax, as leases are typically partially taxed where purchases are fully taxed.

Again, I generally prefer to lease, but the numbers just didn't justify it in my case this time.

Good deal ?
I don't see how that is possible unless you put a large amount down.

EU dealer, not US.
Happy to "hear" i did a good deal.
...and got some goodies as well: tint rear windows, GTS with in red and some other extraordinary value as they want to deliver me the car some earlier as i initially wanted.....

Gentleman, My Lava Orange c2S is on the boat and I need help re current residuals...I have a rate of 0.002 MF as negotiated a couple of months back.Assuming that is still the current best rate.
What are the current residuals for 10k/year 27 month lease ?
If someone can share a rate sheet, that would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance !

sadly I dont have the current PFS info, but any brand ambassador should be able to provide you with it.

I'd recommend you look carefully at the term and mileage, I personally went with 30mnths and 7.5k miles (although perhaps I should have gone with 5.5)
or optimal lease...

Remember, go lowest mileage package possible. I made the mistake of going 2 years and 7.5k miles. Cheaper to pay overage rather than buy miles up front.

Once I have the residuals , will consider 5-7 k miles/ yr and 24 to 30 months
