Default Exterior mirror coutesy light function

Hi all.

I have a CPO MY2013 C2S

I have the LED on my external mirrors. I believe it's part of the electric folding mirror option.

I have never seen these lit up ever.

I have the light switch on auto and the courtesy lights setting on the OBC set.

Is there any other setting I'm missing?

Did you make adjustment to the PCM? I think it is somewhere in Settings and then Interior or Exterior Lighting. There is a option to set to 0 seconds or 60 seconds, I think.

Does your outside running lights come on when you unlock your car at night?

Like porsche_nuts said..... there is a little setting for timing. I have mine set to 30 sec.

Yes the DRL comes on.

Not sure if it has anything to do with the mirrors automatically folded on lock?
I'll look for a setting to turn that off to see if the lights will come on then.

For the life of me I haven't figure out how to control this.. For me sometimes it comes on at night when I unlock, sometimes not.

I can't find a specific PCM function related to this other than the interior or exterior light timing. The exterior seems to control how long the headlights are on, but not this.

So I tested this out. When the auto close option is enabled then the lights don't come on.
Only if the mirrors are kept unfolded does the lights work.

Weird that they can't coexist!
