Rob, I just realized the rest of your handle. X51, nice. Hopefully, I'll have the house paid off this year in prepping for retirement. One of my wish list items is the X51 upgrade. My right rear header pipe has a pretty good dent in it, probably a rabbit. How does the low end torque feel with the kit?

I'm a poser! Actually my '07 C4s was an X51 & that was the car I had when I joined RL. I've never changed my user name. I would like to upgrade too, and infact
Suncoast had the kit half off this past winter but I can't justify the labor cost w only 13k miles. Per your question though, I don't believe the Power Kit changes the torque curve or peak, only the HP to 430. The smarter choice would be to just buy a GTS imho. You can delete the alcantra and CL wheels or find one ordered that way if those options are not for you. Thx.
