Are you sure that you're getting emails from your iPhone? Most of us can get text messages with our iPhones, but not emails. It's the same with other car brands due to an iOS issue.

iOS 8.4 now allows us Apple iPhone users to get emails and texts on the PCM.

Worked for me automatically.

After software update, it just sort of happened.

not me! My email and text says it is empty on PCM. I have OS8.4. How should PCM be set to receive email and text messages?

As I posted previously, this will only work if you have a November 2012 or newer build date due to the change they made to the bluetooth functionality. No ios update can save you if you have an older build.

I get both (but I have android) -- did you set it up properly ?

Hit PHONE on PCM > selete MESSAGES/DATA > TRANSFER MESSAGES > select EMAILS > select COMPLETE TEXT

there is no COMPLETE TEXT on iphone connects. The iPhone cannot be connected. This is just another Porsche frailty. I am grateful that the phone connection works. That is all I need. I own a 2015 991 GTS. When I stop, I check my email on my iphone. I have no business checking it while I drive.
