Thanks for the update. My car is on that ship. I contacted my dealer today before I read the recent posts. According to him, the ship is arriving "this week" and my estimated delivery date is 24 April.

I had an agreement with PCNA that, if I was not happy with the repairs, the sale was voided. I flew to Charleston to inspect the car. It was perfect. PCNA let me drive it home. I owned it for 18 years.
This may be the rule and not the exception. Several years ago I was talking with an Audi SA who previously worked for Benz. He told me that the repair facility in San Diego for damaged MBs did such a good job that the repair work was noticeable because their quality was better than the factory's. (This was back in the day when you'd see orange peel and joints that were not quite perfectly aligned, etc.). Anyway, the repair facility had to be told to tone it down and actually do a lesser quality job! Today, hopefully, all our cars come perfect from the factory!

I heard from my dealer today that my vehicle completed the pre-delivery inspection at the port yesterday and they should receive the car tomorrow or possibly Saturday. Again, my dealer is close to the port but everything I've heard suggests pasha moves cars out very quickly. Good luck to all!

Good news for you.

I called my dealer today to see if they had a status update. All they could say was that my car was on a 'transit list', but did not yet know when it would be 'released' from the port.

I was told that my car was offloaded on 4/8/15 but not expected to get to Vegas until 4/24/15

Default It's Here

A bit of a surprise... my dealer called on Saturday morning and said that my car arrived the night before... did I want to pick it up in the afternoon? Duh.

So, I got my car on Saturday. Obviously I haven't been home much since then, but here's a quick picture from this morning.

2015 C2 Cab
7MT
Metallic Black
Natural Leather / Espresso Interior
Gobs of deviated stitching
Luxor Beige instrument dials (to match the stitching)

Congrats AZ-Steve! Very exciting and beautiful car! I'm still anxiously awaiting the call and apparently I'm not alone as my dealer has over a dozen cars yet to be delivered that were on Cygnus Leader. Enjoy!

I never expected to get the call from my dealer before you got yours. Here's to hoping you get that call real soon.

As I mentioned early on in this thread, this is my first Porsche. I must say that I am completely blown away. Wow.

Looking good. Can't wait to see her when she's all prepped and ready.

I'm sure it is on its way! We know how you feel... hopefully they'll beat that 4/24 date to Las Vegas! I've only had it for a day but it has been well worth the wait from when I ordered this beast in mid-December! Cheers! https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/beerchug.gif
