Default Law Auto Group in Illinois

Hi all, I live in Ca and saw a nice vehicle listed by the Law Auto Group in Illinois. Does anyone have experience with these folks? Thanks in advance.

Yes, did business with them 5 years ago. Very good experience. They seem to get some nice cars either thru auction or Chicago big dealer trade ins (Porsche Exchange, Napelton, Rizza Porsche). They sell mostly high end brands at very fair pricing. I would do business with them again. GL

Obviously check their reputation, but at the same time you're only buying 1 car from them and each car is unique.

Do your homework on the car and check it out in person.

I don't trust any used dealers. Porsche or whoever. They're all out for themselves.

I went in there to look at a GT3 RS; it was in an accident and while they were upfront about it at the dealer; if they had been upfront on their online listing at their website or on eBay I could have saved almost a two hour drive. Seems like they sell a lot of rebuilt vehicles with clean titles.

Most of these kind of dealers end up buying cars at auctions that Porsche dealers don't want many times.

Vehicles that come off leases that are not in good shape too.

Porsche dealers are desperate for great used cars and they keep the good ones.

Not saying good cars don't get into auctions, but more often than not they're being passed along for a reason.

Illinois is full of these kind of used car dealers that do business from warehouses and industrial parks. I've visited quite a few and don't trust them.

They also get first dibs on trade ins that the local Porsche dealers don't want to keep on their lots. I looked at a 993 targa there last Summer and made an offer but we were still a bit apart and it didn't close. I had no issue with them.
