Has anyone installed DBCarbons carbon fiber door trim on the non leather car interiors which came without the silver trim of the leather cars?

Theirs attaches with double face tape as the non leather car doors plastic piece (or even the silver piece on the leather ones) are not removable /replaceable parts. Theirs just stick over the integrated door trim with double face tape.

The tape bit worries me a bit as I want to be sure they look OEM and will stay on well.

Anyone install these?

I tried them on my Ex-991 Cabrio and the fitment wasn't that good.
Also the finish quality at the edges wasn't good.
The finish on top was very good and looks perfect.
I will look on my other computer if i find some pics.

Hello CD - any luck with picture of the trim?
Researching on the door trim for my 981....and wish to know more about the fitment and edges that weren't satisfactory. Thank you!
