I have agate with espresso / cognac on order but may change to black platinum - possibl6 too much brown for me in the long run
Would you say your platinum tends more to light grey or a dark grey?

I have platinum grey in my Basalt Black C2S. To me it seems more like a brownish grey, slightly more medium than light. I am not a fan of light greys but the platinum is just dark enough for me. It isn't a color I would have selected but now that I have it, it has really grown on me.
Not sure how it would look with Agate. Probably great, but I would be curious to see a picture of that combo first.
I think black/Platinum looks great. Better than just black, and better than just Platinum. Mostly I'm not a fan of colored steering wheels!
All gray doesn't ever work for me -- my brother had a 996 Cab in Granite Grey interior and it was just soooooo much gray! This Platinum color is a whole lot nicer -- more taupe than battleship gray like Granite -- but I still like seeing it diluted with black.
My vote is to build one just like CSK 911's above -- and I think you'll even save a few ducats, if memory serves.
^^ That's one good looking 4S! Well chosen options. I'm adding the ducktail to my order also. Really like how it offsets the rear. I've had a Turbo for a couple years and have gotten used to that little visual counterbalance back there.
Here is another look at black w platinum gray. It is my favorite interior. The two tone in full leather is very nice. No glare on windshield w black dash and steering wheel, cooler seats with the gray. Floor mats in black a must too.
Agate exterior with black/platinum interior (the agate/pebble interior was too ruddy for my liking)...
I am blissfully happy with how it turned out... A medium grey but still high contrast to the black... Exactly what I was after.
I think this is what I am leaning towards rather than E/C.
I feel like E/C works better on cayenne....but very stylish in itself and I am sure people who have it are very happy.
