Op: totally legit question and not ball busting. Are you weary of answers you're getting and the time it's taking for you to get them or are you wary about the car? If it's the former, patience grasshopper, if it's the latter then go with your gut. Ceramics are $ to fix if stone chips rotor for example. Smoke smell hard to get out and even then you get a smoke with deodorant smell over it / kinda like "eau de strip club"

Usually if you doubt too much it's the wrong car.

There are ALOT of 911's out there. You can get one for around 85K with same year/trim and mileage without the excessive options.

Boys you are starting to make a lot of sense and that is why I ask you all....you have experience and I am just a little excited that I want the car. The other problem is it is black and has a few scratches on the hood which I believe the best detailer would have a hard time with. Again ,it is a 2013 and very hard to find a mint 2 year old car!

I found a 2012.5 991 last July with 2,600 miles on it. CPO too!

Find in an under 5-10K mileage car isn't hard. Especially a 911!

Pass on this car. You are spending $90k...You will never get "all" of that cigar smell out. Be patient, I know thats difficult, I waited 6 months prowling before "Lucy" found me.

Keep looking, if anything, the car could still retain that "new car smell"!

Trust me, when the right car comes along, you will not need us to tell you, You Will Know.

Good Luck, keep researching! Hunt is all the Fun!

Pass.

Unless you wanna pick up Suge Knight from the pokey and smoke cigars together.

The guys are correct. You'll never get that smell out. Even though I prefer cigar smoke to cigarette smoke it will still suck.

1) I have no idea if 2.99 is a good rate, but I wouldn't be buying a toy with a loan, much less a 5 year loan.

2) I would never buy a car that smelled like smoke, much less cigar smoke, which is putrid and permanent.

"the old owner smoked cigars in it" LOL bad stereotype 911 owner at that.

Rate is good.

Doomed on the cigar smell unless you take up cigar smoking, drive with windows down, or plan on keeping the car over 10yrs. The smell should be gone by then.

Hey, he waited an entire 10 minutes before complaining! Dang youngsters...

Smoke tends to really get into the fibers of the carpet, headliner, etc. You should also plan on parking the car with the windows down and buying a case of Febreeze.

If you have a VIN number is it possible to find out what they paid at auction?

It is not that hard to find a 2 year old C2S with low miles...I would keep looking. Plus, the price still seems a little high and the smoke smell would be a deal breaker for me, period. Plenty of other cars that don't have that smell. It would bother me A LOT. YMMV.

I also picked up a 2012.5 991 C2S last June with only 7,200 miles on it. They are out there!
