Thank you very much! I was behind one last night. Looks rather sexy at night IMO.

I put Michelin pilot alpin winter tires on my C4S on my 20 in wheels and it is a dream in the snow. A little softer ride, but for the cold months it's great. Something to consider up there in MI.
Would love a pic of it next to your targa...awesome!
Will do as soon as 993 is out of storage.

Thanks. My 993 is in storage now, as I don't drive these in the winter. I did take the 991 out today for the first time after receiving it yesterday. The weather was more agreeable at 47 degrees, rather than 11 when the car rolled in off the truck.

I am anxious to take a side by side of my two 911's as soon as the weather gets better.

Here are a couple of pictures of my 993 in better weather just as a comparison to the 991 pics I posted. Much smaller car! I love them both though. The 993 is more raw. I had an '87 911 targa for 14 years and that was far more raw than the 993. So I have really seen the progression.

The 993 and 991 are completely different cars, of course, and it will be fun to drive them back to back in the spring.
The 991 is so refined, but I like the 993 for being a bit more basic of a sports car. Great design on both.

The 991 is in immaculate condition. Hardly even a front bumper rock chip. The car looks brand new off the showroom.

Thanks for the ride today, pops. Nice choice indeed.
Best option on the car: 7-speed MANUAL transmission.
Looking forward to getting our C4's out for the first spring ride.

I like the new addition. I'll be looking for you around town. I'm in West Bloomfield with Silver/Black 991 Cabrio.

Was a lot of fun, son and is a father/son tradition when either of us get a new 911! Can't wait for spring. My 991 C4 might have an edge on your 993 C4 off the line. We'll see..

Cool. I'll keep my eye out!

Your's looks very nice. I like the color, but then I am partial to silver.

Three out of four of my 911's have been silver. A Lagoon Green '87 Targa got in the mix (really looked like a light metallic blue).
