Would you guys trade a 2013 base 911 with pse/10k miles for a 2011 911S with 8K asking 69k? My 13 is cpo'd and I would have to negotiate a CPO on the 2011. Is it worth the change to the 911S?

Trading to a 997 from a 991 would be a rare occurrence. I find my 991 to be superior to my 997.2 in every way I can think to measure. Some may take issue with the steering, but to me it is a non issue.....Chris

Pretty sure in real world tests, the 991 Carrera is faster than the 997 Carrera S despite having less HP on paper. Most folks who have had both also believe the 991 is worlds ahead in handling and amenities. A good salesman (also longtime local PCA member) told me to buy the newest 911 you can afford.

Never. If you need the "S", just buy an "S" from the parts dept and put on your car. Sure it will be a bit of a pose, but 1) you will save $$ 2) still have the better car and 3) you will no longer need an "S".
